Delta V Engineer

Crest Solutions are seeking a Delta V Engineer to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

·       Generation of Functional specification, Design and Test Specifications for Recipes, Phase Sequences, Equipment Modules, Control Modules, customized logic and HMI Graphics based on customer User Requirement Specification (URS).

·       Configuration and Testing of Recipes, Phases, Equipment Modules, Control Logic and Interlock Scheme based on Design and Test Specifications for Pharmaceutical Batch Processing.

·       Work onsite and support Core & Capital Projects teams review Design Specifications and Test Specifications.

·       Support teams for Installation Qualification and operational Qualification (Fre FAT’s, FAT’s & SATs) on site.

·       Involvement for Site Commissioning activities.

·       Support of day to day Manufacturing Operations.

Skills and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.

·       Fluent in English, written and verbal.

·       Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry.

·       Experience in the Design of DeltaV for both Upstream and Downstream processes.

·       Experience in the Design, Testing and commissioning of DeltaV site at a GMP manufacturing site.

·       Technical proficiency on controls systems including familiarity with control panels, networking, panel/field wiring and PLC control systems.

·       Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of the following Microsoft tools: Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

·       Relevant Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent
